It’s Fun from start to finish. Push was able to create a world of terms and abilities that usually only are seen from a series with dozens of episodes. They don't create a new world; it's just our world with some creative sprinkles on it. Normally attempts at this fail horribly as to much info is thrown at the audience to quickly, or to dully and they either forgot or don't care. They managed to squeeze it all in well. The movie was fast paced and kept the plot rolling along while still throwing in the funny quips, and scary/deep emotional moments. Fanning absolutely played her role amazingly. It never seemed forced, or false.
The special effects of the “Movers” (telekinetics) are very eye catching, but there is so much more to this movie. The “Watchers” (with their ability to see the future), and the “Pushers” (with mind control/memory alteration powers) keep you on your toes wondering who's motives are in play in each character. The task of trying to block watchers from seeing the future, and watchers themselves attempting to change it takes the ole prophecy twist and turns it on its head.
By the end of the film you're sitting there going, it's over? I wanted more, I wanted the story to just keep going, but the final scene was so fantastic that, well, I said aloud bravo, bravo.

Second Sight Book-Need I say more? If you're prepping to either run a game based around psychic characters or playing one you need to watch this movie. I would probably say that psychic characters could intermingle with hunters with relative ease. I personally haven't glanced at the second sight book myself so I can't get into much further detail... yet
